Temposia (“we”, “us”) operates the website at temposia.com — an interactive 3D Solar System explorer. This policy explains what information we collect, how we and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (including for advertising), and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Usage analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It records aggregate, non-identifying metrics (such as page views and country) and does not build a profile of you.
• Account information (only if you sign in). Signing in is optional. If you choose to, authentication is handled by Supabase using an email magic-link or an OAuth provider (Google, Apple, or Microsoft). We process your email address and a session token to keep you signed in.
• Preferences. We store small settings in your browser’s local storage — for example your chosen language and interface state. These stay on your device and are not sent to us as personal data.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use browser local storage for the preferences above. Our advertising partner (Google) and its vendors use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, as described below. You can control or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time.

Advertising — Google AdSense

We display ads through Google AdSense. In connection with this:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.

The explorer loads imagery and content from third parties, which may receive your IP address and standard request data when their content is shown:

• NASA EOSDIS GIBS (satellite imagery)
• Street-level imagery providers (Google Street View, Mapillary, KartaView, Panoramax)
• Supabase (authentication, only if you sign in)
• Google AdSense / Google’s ad network (advertising)

These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the website and its features.
• To keep you signed in, if you choose to sign in.
• To display advertising that helps support the site.
• To understand aggregate, anonymous usage trends.

We keep account data only for as long as your account is active. We use reasonable technical measures to protect information, and the site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children’s privacy

Temposia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads shown are intended for a general audience.

International users

The site is available globally and may be served from, and processed in, countries other than your own. By using Temposia you consent to this processing.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
